Born as a companion series to
On These Streets, OTS Mixtape takes the format of the hip hop music video and twists it (sometimes literally). All tracks are AI generated in a specific way to evoke the sound of early hip hop. When developing the series, I just loved the way older AI models would hallucinate dancing bodies, so that became the core of the series.
