Uncontacted draws inspiration from the rare, fleeting images of the so-called “uncontacted tribes” - alien from us, seen from the detached and privileged aerial perspective of a drone - and applies this same point of view to the western world, materializing a distance that we imagined to be non-existent. This AI-generated imagery simulates a "remote" perspective—reminiscent of drone surveillance—crafting a deceptive reality where false perspective becomes the defining stylistic element. The result is an impossible, surreal construction, set against a dizzying black-and-white dreamscape that seems to stretch into infinity. The images of drones capable of deciding the fate of entire civilizations without empathy or emotional involvement reflect one of the great contradictions of our time: technology, which should bring us closer, becomes a means of detachment, creating a kind of "emotional distance" that renders us passive spectators of reality. This reflects a deeper anxiety for an increasingly divided and hostile world. The series is organized in two distinct chapters: the first - Quiet - depicts "tribes" in their daily lives, while the second - Storm - portrays them armed and ready for conflict. Uncontacted emerges as a cartography of contemporary alienation—a fresco that, viewed from afar, reveals a painterly power rooted in expressionism: brushstrokes laden with anguish, stark contrasts of light and shadow, and chromatic masses evoking the chaos of a shattered geography. The vision dissolves into the vertigo of distance, creating an unstable, unmoored landscape where continents and civilizations appear to collapse into lost memory.
